Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Veliome iOS app and veliome.com, operated by Veliome Labs ("Veliome", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

The app

Veliome is a wellness and self-tracking app that helps you log plant diversity, fermented foods, and lifestyle factors, and turns them into a daily Gut Score and insights. Core tracking features are free to use. Veliome Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription (weekly, monthly, or annual, with a 7-day free trial on eligible plans) that unlocks personalized food scoring, the full 30-Plant Challenge, Ferments Hub, Gut-Brain Insights, and the Lessons library.

Subscriptions

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on your device. Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial period.

Because subscriptions are billed and fulfilled by Apple, refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by Veliome Labs directly.

Not medical advice

Veliome provides general wellness and educational information based on published research. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified clinician about your health.

Optional test kit

Where offered, the at-home microbiome test kit is a separate, optional purchase fulfilled by a third-party laboratory partner under its own terms, which will be presented to you before you order.

Acceptable use

Use Veliome only for its intended personal wellness-tracking purpose, and don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app or its content beyond what's permitted by applicable law.

Content and disclaimers

Veliome links to peer-reviewed research to explain the reasoning behind its features. We aim for accuracy but make no warranty that any content is complete, current, or error-free. The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Apple's standard terms

Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
